Greyhounds Baseball in Brookfield, IL

Greyhounds' baseball was founded in 2022 in partnership with a local baseball league out of Brookfield, IL.  The goal of Greyhounds baseball is to provide an affordable option of travel baseball that focuses on community, development, and fun.

We offer a highly competitive travel program in partnership with a community driven house league.  Games at Ehlert park, field 1 are an experience of baseball, music, food, and fun.

Tryouts are on Sunday 7/13.  

13u and 14u 9am to 10:30am

15u, 16u, 17u 10:30am to Noon.

 What the Greyhounds Baseball Program Offers:  

Travel baseball schedule playing in the CLSB or WSBL, playing 12-15 league games and 2-3 tournaments.   Full uniform & swag for players is fully included in cost.   Overall, we offer between 30-50 total games combined with our house baseball and travel baseball. Highly competitive house league baseball (In 2024 we have eight 13-15U teams and four 16-18U teams) Our house league schedule is 16-20 games.   House league offers end of season playoffs. House league offers potential All Star tournament teams competing for State, Regionals, and potentially the Babe Ruth League World Series.   

We also offer and have highly experienced coaches.  

Offseason training – Run by former college baseball players Oct/Nov/Dec optional Strength and Agility training.

January/Feb/March Winter team practices 2 - 3 times per week  

Weekly optional hitting groups 

Player development director is a former college baseball player at Aurora University (98-02) – He works with and develops all levels of the organization.   

Supplemental Sandlot practices (when the season concludes) 

Open hitting sessions off professional pitching machine (Indoors & on field).  Travel baseball experience at a fraction of the cost of other travel organizations.
